Much of my cross-stitch work is commissioned to commemorate births, christenings,
marriages, golden weddings and the like. Each design is unique and I try and
incorporate motifs that have meaning to the family and event. Here, for example,
is a simple sampler to commemorate a birth.

Here is an example of a 'Thank You' sampler.
The border design is based upon the border around a carpet in the guest room at Lake House.Click on the sampler to see a detail from it.
Another birth sampler, this time for a boy.

One of my designs was used as the front cover of a book, Made To Treasure, edited by Kit Pyman, Published by Search Press Ltd. in 1984. The book included a couple of my sampler designs and one for a treasure box. Click on the book title to see the front cover.
Finally, an example of a new project - hand-crafted greeting cards for all occasions, using a variety of materials.
